Mary had a patient that the family, after a long extended illness and stay in ICU had finally decided to withdraw life support. Mary was very considerate and supportive to them during this time. Mary provided a gentle, thorough bath for the patient so he would be clean and polished when the family arrived to say goodbye. She just felt like something was missing as this was a young adult male. So, she had her husband go to the store, buy, and bring in Gillette deodorant body wash for men. The family made many comments about how wonderful he smelled and looked on his final day. Awesome job Mary! Thanks for going above and beyond.
