Mary is my "angel in scrubs" and my hero! I go to the Mt. Vernon, VA, clinic and have a lot of physical and mental things going on, from PTSD to preparing for surgeries. There have been times I come in bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and times I come in with a bad day, feeling confused, with memory loss, and emotional. Mary always listens to whatever I bring in. She is so encouraging to me by showing compassion, dedication, and patience. I'm treated like a human being. Feeling loved by Mary makes me feel safe and secure. She never appears tired or like she doesn't want to be there. Mary, you're amazingly patient and a great listener to me. I have so much respect and gratefulness for what you do each and every day. I pray for God's protection as you perform your selfless acts of love and caring. Mary hasn't done just one thing special, Mary does it every time! I'm thankful!
