Mary Sampson RN from ICU is Winchester Hospitals most recent recipient of the DAISY Award for exemplifying extraordinary compassion and sensitivity to others. Mary was recognized by a patient who spent six days in ICU. “She always answered my call button immediately with a smile and concern over what I needed,” the patient explained in a letter sent to Kevin Smith, President & CEO of Winchester Hospital. “I was very sick and she tended to my every need. She was knowledgeable, professional, pleasant and encouraging.”
