C and I were very impressed with Mary’s ability to break through C ’s strong wall he has built. She was able to be understanding and not react to his negative behaviors. She, in a short time, was able to enter into his world and gain his trust and confidence. He has Aspergers and I have Never seen this happen as quickly as she did and with such honor and integrity. Taking her time with him to watch movies and play games, being attentive and not judge him on his actions. She should be honored and I know without a doubt she deserves this award.
