Mary is just the best. She remembers me and greets me like a friend each time I come in. She listens to my concerns in such a caring way and helps to lighten the mood while making me feel validated and heard, never in a dismissive or judgmental way. I know she and the doctor are always very busy, so it feels even more like she goes out of her way to make patients feel comfortable and safe. She also helps me to manage my expectations and let me know one time "Your appointment is double booked for your next visit so expect us to be a little behind but we will get to you!" It was nice to know that before I got there so I could plan it into my day. Many women under the care of an OBGYN can be going through such a vulnerable time in their lives and having caring, compassionate nurses like Mary makes things a bit easier.
