From the moment the nurse checked us into our room I knew my husband was in great hands. Mary's compassion, knowledge and positive attitude gave me so much reassurance that he was going to be okay! Then through the evening into the night, she was so attentive and gentle. Mary's smile and kindness was so comforting when we were all so anxious. She engaged in pleasant conversation with us and genuinely had a way of making us feel the nurse truly cared about us as people. Whenever I had to leave my husband for any length of time I wasn't anxious about doing so with any of the staff from 7W. They were all great, but Mary just stood out to us both. She definitely was meant to be a nurse, she mentioned many times how much she loved what she did. We were blessed to have her a few shifts of our stay and LCM is blessed to have the nurse on staff!
