Mary Snyder, RN, BSN

I am a firefighter from Kentucky who spent 65 days at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center receiving the best care I could possibly imagine.  My nurse Mary saved my life.   Mary was compassionate while constantly pushing me to do my best even when I didn't want to.  Mary was my biggest advocate and always made sure I was informed and that my needs were met.  She encouraged me, challenged me, and constantly reminded me that I had the strength to improve.  Most importantly, I felt like I had a friend who was understanding, stern when I needed it, and committed to seeing me succeed.  I survived this stay in so many ways because of the care Mary provided.  Mary is dedicated, attentive, kind, patient, and challenges her patients to strive for better.  Thank you, Mary, for all that you do for your patients.
