Mary Thomas was my RN during my surgery time at SSW. When I entered the Day Surgery unit everyone was so kind and caring. Mary started off by getting me prepped and ready to have surgery. She wrapped my hand and arm with a warm towel prior to placing my IV. It was seamless and pain-free. Which put me at ease with my nerves. I truly appreciate every attention to detail my RN Mary had towards my care. She guided me to and from restroom breaks, she cared for my comfort level the whole time. Post-op she made sure I was comfortable offered me juice, water, and crackers. She made sure I was given the at-home instructions and packets needed for a great recovery. She made sure I knew to schedule a follow up with my surgeon doctor. Truly the best choice to have my surgery at SSW, highly recommend the hospital.
