Mary consistently demonstrates a genuine compassionate and caring demeanor to all patients. Mary prides herself in delivering excellent care in every aspect of her role in the Endoscopy Unit. She is recognized as an expert in her field of Gastroenterology by her co-workers and physicians. Mary mentors new staff with confidence and patience, to ensure they succeed. In our outpatient world, Mary manages to make every patient and their family feel special as she provides them with an exceptional experience in such a short time frame. Likewise, the unit evaluates our provision of care with a follow up telephone call after discharge and Mary is frequently mentioned as "awesome, caring, warm, knowledgeable and sweet". She provides discharge information to our surgical patients as well. With this population, she is regarded as an RN who wants to make sure they are fully prepared to go home.
