I received a security dispatch to the Patient Transport to assist a visitor. Upon arrival, the visitor explained that staff from W2 said they would roll his wife to the window so that he could wave to her. I called W2 to confirm the story and it turned out that Mary Van Clief had said she would do it. I escorted the visitor to the grassy patch by the PT parking area where he was able to have a chance to see his wife for a few moments. People like Mary giving us moments like this make our Caring Tradition possible.
