May 2024 Honoree
Mary Wiley, RN, BSN
My daughter does not complain, so I took her seriously the morning we woke up, and she shared that she had a knot on her head that was painful and had not gone away. It was a scary moment. Mary was calm, caring, and compassionate with us during her questioning, and she never cut our conversation or answering short, which we have experienced in the past. It's often hard to explain what you’re feeling or experiencing when past trauma causes your responses to seem differently. Mary was willing and able to see that and perform professionally.
Thank you, Mary, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
