Mary was recognized by a patient who was having a significant amount of anxiety prior to getting hand surgery. Mary was able to come into the patient’s room pre-op and help calm her down and put her mind at ease. “She was with me through the surgery and helped me to remain calm, allowing the procedure to get done without having a panic attack.”
