My mom was getting her bone marrow tap done and with two bad previous ones, my mom was very nervous. The nurse put on my mom's favorite song and stayed with her holding her hand playing her favorite song through the procedure. My mom felt so relaxed and that someone was with her it made the procedure painless. How special of a nurse to do that?
Knowing someone held my mom's hand when we couldn't make it means to the world to her family.
