MaryAnn Strong, Registered Nurse

Mary Ann Strong is a very dedicated nurse who is always willing to help her co-workers. She takes excellent care of her patients and will take on extra patients if the other nurses are struggling. Mary Ann mentors new nurses and does an exceptional job in that role. She is a leader and well loved by all staff and hospital employees. She will take extra time in her day to talk with her patients and families. She explains the process in depth to the patient from the time of admission to the discharge process. Mary Ann has been an employee at Miners for 19 years. She adjusts to change well. Mary Ann attends all staff meetings and is involved in the planning of any department events. Mary Ann's devotion to her job shows in her daily care of her patients. She always goes above and beyond. She is the picture of what a true nurse should be.
