Marybeth Riley, RN

The nurse I had on my last day in the hospital deserves to be recognized for her extreme compassion and helpfulness. When she escorted me to my waiting car at about 6:30 pm, I realized that I had misplaced my wallet in my room. Thus, I did not have the $2.00 needed to pay for my prescription. Marybeth did not hesitate to offer to pay my copay so that I would be able to take my prescription home with me. In the meantime, my husband went to my hospital room, found my wallet, and subsequently reimbursed her. Marybeth deserves to be recognized for this specific act of kindness as well as for the nursing assistance provided to me prior to my discharge.
