MaryDee has dedicated her entire nursing career which has been a lifetime of service, a calling, always focused on contributing to the profession of nursing- informing, influencing, and leading improvements in patient experience, RN engagement, and safety quality here at Mount Sinai Hospital and across a broader healthcare community.
 
Regardless of her role, MaryDee focuses on what is the right thing to do, not the most popular but the right thing. We can't in this brief time mention even a small percentage of her considerable and influential accomplishments but what resonates most with me is that anything MaryDee produces has rigor. She is trustworthy, and transparent with an incredible work ethic, and consistently strives to contribute and make improvements. She had been integral - critical to our successful Magnet designations and this continues to be true now as we anticipate our 5th.

We couldn't do this without MaryDee. I am grateful for her mentorship and caring spirit. She is someone I would always aspire to be like. She is a stellar leader, mentor, and visionary.
