We had a phenomenal experience in labor and delivery under MaryEllen's care. She demonstrated patience, an extremely caring bedside manner, and humor in her time with us while laboring. It was a long day on Pitocin, and MaryEllen was proactive in finding comfort for me and solving problems in an upbeat manner (such as making me delicious broth multiple times!), connecting with me and calming me via sharing personal experiences and spending extra time in our room to support, and being gentle with internal exams and literally giving me a strong hand to squeeze when in pain. I almost want to have another baby very soon if it meant being supported by MaryEllen!
