Mason Cheuvront, RN

There was a dying patient in our department.  The patient was at the stage where they were physically, mentally, and spiritually with us when they decided they were too tired and their fight was finished.  Mason listened to this patient's request to be able to go outside and feel the breeze one more time.  Mason stopped her other duties to be able to give this patient one of their last wishes.  Mason gave the patient her undivided attention and the time required to make this patient feel cared for, supported, dignified, and loved.  In addition to being a great teammate, Mason routinely demonstrates BSA's mission in all of her patient-care interactions.
