Mason Montano 2, RN

Mason takes the time to make sure all team members are included and working together to maximize patient outcomes. He always checks in on his team members, including residents, attendings, and fellow nurses. Mason takes initiative. I am a resident and had a particularly challenging family situation with one of my patients. Mason worked to make sure I was always in the loop. He also reassured this family member, thoughtfully listened to her concerns, and ultimately gained her full trust in our medical team. We could not have done it without him. In addition, Mason recognizes flaws and works to make changes in our hospital. I am truly inspired by his work ethic and positive attitude. He is truly an asset to Sky Ridge.
