Mathew was nominated by a family member of a patient that he cared for. She describes Mathew as compassionate and brings a human touch to her husband's care, even in a very acute environment with a lot of technology. He went above and beyond to ensure that both her husband and she knew what was going on and remembered to provide comfort to them at all times. His calming and soothing presence helped ease the stress of being critically ill and allowed them to heal. They are grateful for Mathew's clinical skill and compassion.
