Matrice goes above and beyond to make sure not only the employees have everything that they need to have a great and productive day, but she also goes out of her way to make sure each of our patients who walk through or gets rolled through the door has the best possible day with us whether that be for 5 minutes to 5 hours. She is a great leader and friend to everyone who comes into contact with her. She makes it a point to pray with us before we start our shift, and no matter what we are going through she notices if we are having an off day and will pull you aside when she has a free moment just to comfort you. She will help anyone out in their time of need.

I noticed the great person that she is when we had a patient pass away, once the family came, she grabbed boxes of tissues and water for them, set them up in a room so that they may grieve in peace. She hugged the wife of the deceased and even shed a tear of empathy for her. When the wife was ready to go, Matrice walked her out by hand through the doors, and at that moment I knew that she was an outstanding leader, gentle, and kindhearted person. Not only for what she does for this community but also for what she does for the staff. She recites our mission statement every morning she works and she takes to heart every word and applies it as we work.
