Matt Barnes, RN

My wife was a patient on CVU. We normally go to a promedica physician but we live close to UTMC. My wife came by squad because it was the closest hospital. Matt Barnes took care of my wife and he is exemplary!! I am a retired paramedic and have worked with many nurses over the years. Matt is one of the best I have ever encountered. He was very professional yet funny. He has a great sense of humor and put my wife at ease. My wife looked forward to him coming into the room because Matt put her at ease. She was scared to death about her diagnosis but Matt helped her so much she became calm whenever Matt was with her. Matt is a fantastic, caring professional and a true DAISY Nurse. He is one of the best!! Thank you, Matt.
