Matt was ever so patient with my elderly mother while hospitalized with a UTI, and suddenly very disoriented in speech and behavior. He was also very compassionate and understanding of my brother or me being there most of the time, including overnight.

He did not act like he resented our being there and, in fact, went out of his way to ensure that all of us, including my mother, were comfortable and not frightened. He will never know how much this meant to us!
