Matt had the most comforting spirit. He was available, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. My family did not completely understand how the doctor making rounds wanted to proceed with treatment. Matt stepped in and explained what the doctor meant. He worked in complete conjunction with the doctor. He came into the room, got the needed patient information, asked if there was anything he could do to make us more comfortable, then proceeded to point out the stage of patient care we were at.
