I believe Matt Grayson is a perfect nurse. He made a tremendous difference in my life that I will never forget. I came into Sequoia Hospital with two serious diseases and extremely high anxiety and needs. I was a high-need patient and Matt was always calm, and professional and gave me the attention and help I needed. He always made time to give all of his patients the time and care they needed. Matt treats me, as he does everyone, with respect and friendliness. He is everything a nurse should be and does enhance the image of nursing. The environment he creates on any floor felt honest, trustworthy, and with true compassion, and his ethics inspire me and the staff. He is a good teacher, a good soul, and a role model to his community. I had an enlightening and fun experience when I realized he is also a gifted teacher – informed, and easy to understand and I felt calmer and reassured after I got anxious with all the new restrictions from diagnosis and GERD. I felt overwhelmed until Matt, with no arrogance, and even some humor, explained things to me in a way that I can understand and I felt reassured. Kudos to Matt for being a special person and great nurse.
