A patient called the ED Team Leader after her visit on 11/7/2011. The patient stated that she is in a very hard place right now. She has become an alcoholic and has many different problems at this time. She stated that she is a frequent patient and keeps coming back because of the great care she receives. She called this time to express her gratitude for her nurse Matt who treated her with the dignity and respect that she felt she didn’t deserve. He never judged her for being under the influence and gave her the best care she could ever ask for. She admitted to being an unruly patient but states that Matt never lost his patience. Matt is an excellent nurse and great member of the ED team.
