Matt Hickam, RN

I was a patient for over a week. I had different nurses, but I had Matt more than anyone. Which was a blessing. I loved our small talk. Matt was my favorite nurse of all. I know he had more than me as a patient, but he always checked on me and made sure I got my medicines and anything else I needed. He would get me up to walk or sit in the chair. His caring was sincere and it showed. We just seemed to bond, from the beginning. My wife stayed at home away from home and she had said that Matt was an excellent nurse. She was glad to know that he was my nurse most of the time. I have been at 2 different hospitals since and my wife and I have both said that we miss Matt. Your hospital is lucky to have him.
