Matt was our best advocate and the most compassionate nurse. Our 4-month-old son was in the PICU and we were devastated. He helped explain the situation and when we felt our son wasn’t breathing okay he helped advocate for other interventions. He continued to check on us during our stay as the STAT nurse and made sure we felt our care was what we wanted for our son. He sat with our son so we could take a moment to breathe and reset. We couldn’t have asked for a kinder nurse to help watch over our little boy. We are so grateful that people like Matt were involved in our son's care.
