I came to the ED for severe abdominal pain. Matt was my primary nurse while I was in the ED.

From the start, Matt carried himself with a confidence that immediately put me at ease. In a setting that can feel chaotic and overwhelming, his calm and assured presence made a significant difference. I felt that I was in capable hands, which allowed me to trust both him and the care I was receiving.

During this experience, I was at one of my most vulnerable moments, yet Matt consistently went above and beyond to protect my dignity. He treated me with the utmost respect, ensuring that I felt seen not just as a patient, but as a person. That level of compassion is something I will never forget.

Matt was also highly attentive to my pain. He made it a priority to ensure that my pain was well managed, checking in frequently and responding promptly whenever I needed assistance. His attentiveness helped me feel physically more comfortable and emotionally supported throughout my stay in the ED.

What truly stood out was his communication. Matt kept me informed every step of the way, clearly explaining what was happening and what the next steps would be. His transparency and willingness to keep me updated made me feel reassured and included in my care.

Matt exemplifies the qualities of an outstanding nurse: confidence, compassion, attentiveness, and excellent communication. I am deeply grateful for the care he provided.

Thank you, Matt, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
