Matt was absolutely wonderful. He was so professional, compassionate, thorough and responsive. Perhaps the standard is this. If a patient has an advocate with them in the room, the nurse just comes in when necessary or when the patient puts their light on. That had been my experience prior to Matt's arrival on the unit. Matt was more help than I can tell you. He came into the room all the time and took the time to do small things such as explaining the remote and its 'white noise' features. Boy, was that a blessing! He always seemed to have a smile for everyone. He really knew how to make me feel that I was more than just a patient. He was very positive, and always came back when he said he would. He took his responsibilities very seriously and was very personable. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Matt.

Matt is an incredible nurse who totally cares about his patients and responds ultra-quickly to their needs. He is bright, compassionate, and competent. I became nauseous today because of Miralax and it was very important that I didn't vomit as I had back surgery yesterday. Matt got my pain and nausea under control very quickly, no vomiting. He gave me superb nursing care.

Mat went above and beyond in taking care of me. He was cheerful and friendly to me and my wife the entire day. He was timely in providing me the nursing care I needed throughout the day. He responded cheerfully and thoroughly to all of the questions we asked him. He went above and beyond the call. Matt is an excellent nurse and a wonderful young man. We were very thankful to have had the pleasure of getting to know him.

My wife had c-diff while she was hospitalized. She has been in the hospital several times before. I have never met a more informative nurse than Matt. He takes that extra effort to help you out. You won't find a more sincere, knowledgeable, and dedicated nurse. Rating "A" plus, plus.
