Matt took such great care of my loved one when she was sick at Mercy Gilbert. After working with him one day, she requested to be on his assignment the next time he worked because not only was he consistently uplifting, encouraging, and positive; but also prompt, effective, and a strong advocate for her.
When I arrived, my friend told me her nurse was "so pumped…he's like a coach." When my friend had concerns, Matt took the time to listen and discuss with us as well as making calls and coordinating her care, then following back up to keep us in the loop.
Matt's can-do attitude made a really scary time more manageable and even made us laugh. Matt went above and beyond, gained our trust and built rapport. We could tell that Matt really cares about the well-being of his patients. He is such an asset to Mercy Gilbert and a true DAISY Nurse.
