I'm sure that because anesthesiologists put in epidurals and then don't see those patients again after that, they probably tend to forget us, but I will forever remember and be grateful for Matt, my anesthesiologist. At a time in my life when I was scared, in pain, and anxious, you were such a comfort. You treated me like I would imagine you treat your family. You were calming and caring, and I will forever appreciate you. I had heard horror stories about how painful epidurals are and tried to hold off as long as I could before getting my epidural because I was afraid, but when I finally made that decision, you went above and beyond to make my experience as comfortable as possible. Thank you, Matt, for easing my anxiety and making me as comfortable as I could be.
