Matt was recognized by a patient whom was not only extremely grateful for life-saving care but also noted that one of Matt's greatest qualities was that "he truly paid attention and knew when something was just not right." Matt was able to provide exceptional compassionate care for this patient in his greatest time of need. Matt had several wonderful friends donate funds to help him provide a Christmas for his patient that year.
