I was recently hospitalized with a heart condition and was admitted to CTVU. At a time when my family and I were at an extremely vulnerable and frightened point in our lives, Matthew took extra time to make sure I was comforted both in my medical and my emotional needs. Those small extra measures he took such as plumping my pillow, giving me a book to read and just talking to me about what I needed, was what made the difference in adequate vs. excellent care. Even more important than treating me special, I noticed that Matthew took the same care with every patient in his care. Matthew makes me proud to work in a place and be a part of an institution that offers such great care to its patients. Thank you, Matthew, for your caring personality!
