Matthew is an incredible nurse. His kindness and integrity are awe-inspiring. His commitment to Harborview and the mission of the hospital go way beyond the physical limitations of the TSICU. He is an outstanding charge nurse and preceptor. However, it is who Matthew is at his core being that makes him a DAISY Nurse. Matthew comes to work every day with a positivity that is infectious. He is the epitome of a patient advocate and expects the same of others. Matthew does not rest on his laurels, he has a thirst for knowledge that cannot be abated. But in his quest, it is with a focus on the betterment in the care of the patient.
He is an incredibly hard worker and wants to ensure that all patients receive truly outstanding care. In the TSICU we are very lucky to have a nurse of his caliber.
