Matt had floated to 3B (med surg) twice in the last year for COVID/short-staffing support. Matt has shown the staff on 3B that we are not forgotten and that he truly cares for ALL VA patients, not just the patients in his department. He is professional, extremely knowledgeable, proficient in all skills used on 3B and most importantly he is a team player. He always asks who needs help with any patient. He has never shied away from assisting with COVID patients as many support staff have. The nurses on 3B are extremely thankful and consider ourselves lucky to learn from and work with Matt. Saying thank you will never be enough.
