Matthew Duncan, RN was recognized by two different families in the emergency department on the same day. Both families were overly impressed with his exceptional knowledge of his profession, attentiveness to the patients and their family members, as well as his extremely caring nature and bedside manner. Matthew went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable and kept informed about what was happening during their visits to the ED that day. Both nominations were received from retired nurses who understand many of the challenges in healthcare and felt Matthew deserved to be recognized for the extraordinary care he provided to their family members!
