I had Matt as my nurse three of the four days I stayed here. I was admitted for a very stressful and anxious condition. Matt was checking in on me during his shift even when he wasn't my nurse. If I needed to push the call button, he came right away. He made sure I got all of my daily medications on time. He knew it was challenging for my family to be here during my stay. So when he had time, he would sit with me and keep me company. This eased my stress which allowed me to heal. Matt attended to all my needs and made me smile. He was always quick to attend to other patients' needs but always came back. He made my stay as enjoyable as it could be and if I didn't have him as my nurse, I probably would have lied about my pain level so I could leave earlier. We both laughed on my last day on how it was a shame I was leaving because we became friends. Please make sure Matt gets this Daisy award. I don't know how many are given but Matt needs one. Thank you!
