Matthew displays unwavering commitment to ethical nursing practice, compassion, and advocacy. With a background in hospice care, he brings empathy and humanity to every patient interaction. He consistently supports patients and families through difficult moments with emotional depth and clinical excellence.
As an active member of the Clinical Ethics Committee at Chilton Medical Center, he contributes valuable insights and rarely misses a meeting, even while working night shifts. A role model among peers, he empowers colleagues facing moral distress and mentors with kindness and integrity.
He advocates for ethics across Atlantic Health, applied for and earned a scholarship to attend the National Nursing Ethics Conference, and served as Chilton’s Magnet Ethics representative. He exemplifies nursing ethics in action every day.
