Matthew has only just changed positions, he used to work as a Children's Liver Specialist Nurse. Matthew was our main point of contact before, through, and after my 6-year-old daughter's liver transplant. I can honestly say I don't think we would have coped without him. His care and understanding are next to none and he always went above and beyond. (far too many examples to write down) His knowledge is incredible, and he managed to make the family feel at ease, no matter what, through the hardest and scariest time of our lives. The first year after transplant was a massive learning curve with ups and downs and Matthew was there for the whole family supporting us and educating us. He really does make a massive difference and just knowing he was at the end of the phone was a massive comfort. My daughter adores him and totally trusts him which is so important when they are going through so much. He truly is a DAISY Nurse.
