Matt truly is a knowledgeable, caring, compassionate nurse who places the patients' care and the 5 "P's" as a priority. He learned of my hearing loss and vision loss (as a child) and he made every attempt to give me information and made sure I understood what he said each and every time. He also gave information and answered questions that my wife asked and went above and beyond making sure that she understood. We never felt like he was rushing out of the room nor did we feel that he didn't want to take the time to explain things.
Matt was extremely professional with hygiene and never made me feel embarrassed while cleaning me up. He made sure I was clean from head to toe, making me feel better knowing that my attitude would affect my overall wellbeing.
Matt is definitely a hard worker and maintains a high work ethic, as well as trying to learn as much as possible about the medical conditions that his patients have. I have been in the hospital many times this year and Matt is by far, one of the best nurses that have ever taken care of me.
