April 2014 Honoree
matthew keri, ARNP, RN
Matthew Keri has been a dedicated oncology RN and ARNP for many years. He worked with Heme/Onc patients as an RN at UWMC and then completed graduate education at the University of Washington. As an ARNP he has worked on BMT, the Oncology Platinum Service and, most recently, Oncology ICU.
Matthew is recognized by both patients and staff as a true advocate of oncology patients. At a recent UWMC Employee Recognition Ceremony, Patient and Family Adviser Paul Lifshultz, former Oncology patient, spoke eloquently about Matthew's skill, caring and compassion.
Matthew is everything that the spirit of the DAISY Award embodies!
