My dad was shutting down after losing my mother, and he had to be admitted. Nurse Matt entered the room and introduced himself. He had such a calming presence. He was incredibly caring and patient with my grieving, heartbroken dad. Matt graciously gave Dad space to cry and listened to his stories, all while taking incredible care. I was concerned with leaving dad alone at night, especially after losing mom so recently, but knowing Matt was there was comforting. At discharge, Matt offered my dad a hug and sincere heartfelt condolences. He left a lasting impression on our family and is truly doing what God put him here to do! Thank you, Matt, for the care you offer patients at FRMC!
