Matt cared for my 86-year old mother when she was a patient at Eskenazi Hospital, suffering from a broken hip, cracked sternum, fractured vertebrae, and dementia-related issues. Matt was extraordinarily kind to my mother during her stay. My mother needed a pair of glasses to try to read, and Matt went to a store after his shift and purchased the glasses for her. My mother was comforted by Matt, and I could tell this by talking to her.
