Matthew showed great compassion to me throughout the day. In the evening, my husband brought my son who is 7 years old to see me because he was very upset about me being sick and not at home. Matthew did an amazing job with my son calming his nerves and going above and beyond to help calm me and my husband as well.

Matthew exhibited sincere compassion for my husband. After my husband returned to his room following a series of tests involving a blocked bowel, he was experiencing extreme pain and diarrhea. He was still hooked up to his iv pump and other equipment. Matthew's quick response to my husbands' call prevented him from having a fall or me hurting myself trying to help him.
