Matthew is the type of person who makes a difficult situation tolerable. He is such a nice and kind person. His constant encouragement is like medicine to me. He is a very genuine person who shows kindness, caring, and compassion for his patients. In an environment where everyone but you can come and go as they please, it is important for caregivers to have empathy and to treat their patients not as a number, but as a person who is going through a trying time; to support, encourage and uplift. So, I wanted to take a moment to say a special thank you to Matthew. Your kindness was like medicine to me.
