Matthew became my nurse on the labor and Delivery floor. I wasn’t sure at first how I felt about having a male nurse but he took amazing care of me and my family. He was gentle, kind, and informative. He didn’t allow anyone to be too aggressive with me and walked me through everything in English (not medical terms). He helped to deliver my beautiful sleeping baby and continued to look after me and him.

I knew my son was in good hands with Matthew. What I didn’t know was that Matthew has been a nurse for less than a year, more importantly, my night was the first time he labored and delivered a stillborn baby. I got the honor of being his first and he changed something for me and my husband. AMC should be extremely proud of him and honored to have him on their team. If he keeps it up, he will change the world. Thank you, Matthew.
