Stepping into the role of Nurse Manager for the Oncology unit this past year, Matt faced the significant challenge of leading a team he did not know through a period of transition.
Matt has successfully bridged the gap between operational management and frontline advocacy, transforming our unit into a more knowledgeable, supported, and cohesive environment. Matt arrived with extensive oncology expertise from his tenure as a charge nurse at the infusion center—a specialized knowledge base that our unit deeply needed.
