After my father had spent approximately two weeks in AIC and after a 2nd full-blown surgery to remove a blood clot, I was completely frazzled. In walked my Jamaican angel, Maudria Reid-Allen. With luminescent brown eyes and an equally brilliant smile, Maudria said, "go home and sleep. I'll take care of papa."
Although there's not one specific incident to relate, it's the sense of calm, confidence and compassion that she instills every time she walks in the room. I can sleep at night when Maudria is "taking care of papa".
