Maureen always had a smile, even when I didn't. I came into this hospital hating life and overwhelmed, but she still could always make me smile. I looked forward to seeing her every day. She was and is a mother figure to me and I needed the warmth of her huge heart. She gave me hope that it will be okay and I am forever in her debt. She more than deserves this award. She is a natural nurturer and I love her for loving me when I couldn't.
